UG VR • Creator Program • Clear Guide
This page is my “I wish someone explained it like this” guide. I recently went through the process myself, and a few key details aren’t obvious at first — especially the difference between getting accepted and earning your in-game perks.
Here’s the simple version:
The clearest sign (for me) was: on the update day (often a Thursday), I suddenly had the creator role and could see the creator channels in Discord.
(Exact timing and details can evolve as UG updates the program — this page is here to make the flow clearer.)
This is the part that confused me initially. Once you’re already in the program, it becomes a repeating cycle. The exact timing can vary (4–5 weeks depending on how they align updates), but the rhythm looks like this:
Prompt #1 starts + results day
New prompt drops. This is also when you may see outcomes from the previous cycle (perks delivered / role updates). If you were newly accepted, this is often when you first see the creator channels.
Prompt #2
Post your second prompt video to TikTok/YouTube and submit the link wherever the program asks.
Prompt #3
Same pattern: make a UG video for the prompt, post it, and submit your link.
Prompt #4 + applications open
Final prompt drops and applications open (this is when existing creators typically apply to claim/renew perks and request level changes, depending on the current system).
Cycle repeats
The following update day rolls into the next Prompt #1, and the loop continues.
Levels are based on UG video views (long-form counts x3), measured over recent time windows.
In my experience: no. Acceptance gets you into the program (Discord role + channels). The in-game perks are earned by completing the prompt requirements during the cycle and applying/submitting correctly.
Post prompt videos to TikTok or YouTube. Screenshot posts don’t count. Discord posting is fun but not required. What matters is the posted video and submitting the link via the correct form.
Yes — per the rules: long-form counts as triple the views toward requirements (e.g., 10,000 long-form views = “30,000 views” for requirement math).
